Been sent some really good albums lately, some of which appear right here (like the Dennis Coffey and the Audiofly). In fact, dare I venture to suggest it has been a good year so far for the ol' album? I believe I might. Anyhow, what with the Wildcookie (an essential, if you ask me, which you're not, but listen on anyway....), Gatto Fritto, Space Invadas (this has some not so good stuff on it, but is more than compensated by the good uns). Hello tea-drinkers. We - not the royal we, but the we that is Alex Tepper and I - have just done a DJ mix for The Revenge's blog. There will be a tracklist when we sort it out (it's not a secret, we're just a bit shit). The mix is to promote the forthcoming singles on Home Taping and UTS. o and buy them both for you and your ol' mum (think of it as an early Christmas present for the old dear).

Blimey what a busy week that was and, in fact, still is. Trying to finish sleevenotes for an excellent new Strut compilation called Zevolution (I'll be playing tracks from it over the next few weeks or so), while getting two parties ready for next week, our Disco Files launch in NYC (see below) and the DJhistory night at the Horse & Groom next Thursday.
